My Dad and I had set a date to hit the water. He isn’t really picky on what we do, he just likes to get out in the Lund. I asked him if he wanted to try a completely new area to me and do some exploring. He was game!
Enter Navionics. I used my PC app to study this stretch of the St. Lawrence River. A few humps and ledges popped out at me right away, decent starting points!
We launched, fired up the ‘bird and opened our mapping and drove right to stop number one.
Within a minute of hitting bottom my Cumara loaded up. Fish on. I look over and Sr.’s rod is doubled over too. Are you kidding me?!?!?!

Dad’s fish was 4.2, mine was 3.6.
Then the clinic started! We were fish for fish but all his were bigger than mine. It was awesome to watch!

To say we had a blast drop shotting up these fish would obviously be an understatement! Dads best 5 would have topped 21 lbs, I didn’t catch a fish that would have helped his limit! Wicked, awesome fun.
