I was able to open up my schedule enough to sneak in a day with two long time friends from Birdee’s ball team, Laura-Lee and Amanda. Both have been doing a bunch of fishing up near Madawaska and have been bitten by the fishin’ bug pretty bad! When I offered a day on the Lakers to them they jumped at it!
It was a pretty laid back day really. We were hooked up very quickly and Laura-Lee was all smiles…
Laura-Lee had the hot stick hooking up with 4 nice lakers on the day. Amanda took some serious ribbing but in the end was able to land a few of her own as well.
After a bit I let the girls run the show while I sat back and did some coaching while working on my tan!

The last fish of the day put up quite the battle. Coming from the depths and wanting nothing to do with coming aboard the Lund it put Laura-Lee to the test. After some cursing she managed to get it topside…
Great day on the water with two great girls. Bent rods and big smiles. All good.
