The Fall presents a few challenges. For me it’s mainly what fish to target. With so many good options locally I try to mix it up. My buddy Grant is always game to these outings. To him Bass season doesn’t start until November!
The main bait on these trips is the steady tubejig. I did pick up a few Largies on cranks but the tube stole the show as usual in the Fall time.
Walleye were eager to eat the tube.

The Crappie were the highlight of these trips to me. Finding these little buggers is as much fun as you can have in the Fall. Not easy!
Good times, sadly the season is nearing the end….
