Birdee got bit by the hunting bug last summer. Big Time!
After consulting with many of our friends who hunt she decided she wanted to archery hunt only. One of the fellas hooked her up with a perfect starter crossbow and we outfitted her completely.
Being that we own 4 acres of land that backs onto nothing but bush and hardwoods she is able to hunt right on our own property with only a 200 foot walk. We built her a real comfy stand that overlooks the main entrance spot to our land.
Last year Birdee was a successful archery hunter. She took her first deer on December 8th. Stay tuned for her success in ’09!
